Master of Business
Administration (MBA) - Finance Specialization
The Capella MBA program is available with a specialization in finance. You will
expand your knowledge in areas such as investment and portfolio management,
international financial management, corporate finance analysis and
decision-making. You will acquire the strategic perspective required to interact
effectively with your peers and senior management across the organization.
Completing this program will allow you to move into middle and senior management
positions.
Capella University online program is comprised of a business core and a
professional effectiveness core, and is supported by an MBA coaching process.
You are required to complete sixteen 6-week courses, which can be achieved in
two years.
MBA Business Core
The business core delivers the traditional MBA disciplines in courses such as
marketing, operations, strategy and finance. Courses in sales/CRM and business
ethics have been added to the business core in accordance with the needs of
business, academic standards, and leading indicators of success.
Professional Effectiveness Core
Courses in the professional effectiveness core teach best practices for leading
and managing others—the skills that corporate executives tell us distinguish
their best people—such as managing change, leading teams, negotiating for
results, building relationships, and ethical leadership.
MBA Coaching Process
As part of your program, you will have the opportunity to work with a
professional coach to help you establish and achieve your professional goals.
Our coaches will help you measurably increase personal and professional
