economic fundamentals to practical business problems. Courses in this

Topics in Strategy
Major topics include vertical integration, strategic alliances, and strategies
for technology companies (3 credits).
Macroeconomics
A detailed examination of the relationship involving consumption, investment
spending, the impact that government and international economic transactions
have on the economy and the special role that money and interest rates play in
determining output and employment levels. Also, analyses and phenomena of
productivity and economic growth, including a discussion of the major
theoretical approaches to these issues (3 credits).
Game Theory and Information Economics
Major topics include analyzing simultaneous and sequential games (Nash
equilibrium, backwards induction, sensitivity analysis), valuing information,
information as a commodity and information markets, problems of information
asymmetry (including moral hazard and adverse selection), and auctions (3
credits).
